# Interfaces en Colleccións

Para entender como Java xestiona grupos de obxectos, debemos comprender que todo o **Collection Framework** está sostido sobre un sistema de xerarquías e contratos definidos por interfaces. Estas interfaces definen o comportamento estándar que esperamos de calquera estrutura de datos.

```mermaid
classDiagram
    class Iterable {
        <<interface>>
        +iterator()
    }
    class Collection {
        <<interface>>
        +add(E e)
        +size()
    }
    class List { <<interface>> }
    class Set { <<interface>> }
    class Queue { <<interface>> }
    class Deque { <<interface>> }
    class Comparable {
        <<interface>>
        +compareTo(T o)
    }
    class Comparator {
        <<interface>>
        +compare(T o1, T o2)
    }
    Iterable <|-- Collection
    Collection <|-- List
    Collection <|-- Set
    Collection <|-- Queue
    Queue <|-- Deque
    note for Comparable "A orde NATURAL\n(interna da clase)"
    note for Comparator "Ordes ALTERNATIVAS\n(externa á clase)"
    List ..> Comparator : Pode usarse en sort()
    Set ..> Comparator : Usado por TreeSet
```

```
GET https://educacion.gitbook.io/programacion/ud6-estructuras-de-datos-avanzadas/estructuras-de-datos-en-java/interfaces-en-colleccions.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
