# Ficheiros de texto: Lectura e escritura
Existen alomenos tres formas de realizar a lectura/escritura sobre ficheiros de texto:
1. Utilización de FileReader e FileWriter
2. Utilización de BufferedReader e BufferedWriter
3. Utilización de Scanner e PrintWriter
Aínda que imos ver as tres formas, vamos a traballar principalmente coas clases **BufferedReader** e **BuffferedWriter**, xa que ofrecen as seguintes vantaxes en relación as outras:
* Recomendado para ficheiros de tamaño medio e grande
* Maior eficiencia (Menor número de operacións I/O)
* Permite o procesamento secuencial do ficheiro liña a liña.
