# hashCode()

`hashCode()` é un método de `Object` que devolve un **número enteiro** (`int`) que representa o obxecto.

Ese número úsase principalmente en **estruturas baseadas en hash**, como as que veremos na unidade 6

* `HashMap`
* `HashSet`
* `Hashtable`

Este numero xenerado permite identificar univocamente a un elemento dentro de unha estructura de este tipo, co que se se redefine equals, e obrigatorio redefinilo para futuros usos que se lle vaia a dar a nosa clase.

    public int hashCode() {
        return Objects.hash(nombre, peso, direcion);
    }
}
```

    public int hashCode() {
        return Objects.hash(super.hashCode(), titulacion);
    }
}
```
