# Sentenzas

En Java, unha **instrución** (ou sentenza) é unha unidade básica de execución que indica ao programa realizar unha acción específica. Cada instrución en Java realiza unha operación concreta

As características dunha instrución en Java son:

* **Terminación con punto e coma**: A maioría das instrucións en Java deben rematar cun punto e coma (`;`). Isto indica o final da instrución.

  ```java
  int x = 5;
  ```
* **Instrucións executadas secuencialmente**: Por defecto, as instrucións execútanse na orde na que aparecen no código, de arriba a abaixo, a menos que se modifique o fluxo de control.

  ```java
  int a = 3;
  int b = 4;
  int suma = a + b;
  ```
